Parker County Emergency Services District No. 6

ESD No. 6 officers

Starting October 1st, 2013, Parker County ESD No. 6 will have two paid firefighters on duty Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.  One of these firefighters will be certified through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) which means that he/she is a paid, career firefighter in another city.  The second firefighter on duty will be a member of ESD No. 6 who has completed at least 70 hours of training documented through the State Firemen and Fire Marshal's Association.  These two firefighters will ensure that a crew and truck is available to respond to emergencies during the day when most of our volunteers are at their paying day jobs.  With two firefighters on duty during the day when our call volume is the highest, the response times to the emergencies will also be shorter since there is a crew at the station waiting for a call.

ESD No. 6 is currently recruiting active volunteer firefighters, medical first responders, and new members.  Applications can be found under the links tab above.  Interested applicants are encouraged to fill out the application that can be brought to station 1.

Fire department trainings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 7 PM - 9 PM at Station 1.
